Firing description
Firing notes
60% full. Extra stilt on top shelf for the squid and creature. Creature has underglaze. Bung in at 600°C. Bung out on way down around 870°C. Popped lid at 70°C.
Day notes
Reading was 6°C when I started to load it.
Result notes
Everyone survived. Tiny cracks on some the squid tentacle joins but glaze will cover them fine. one after 682 got detected as 4700 (oh no). And also on 786. one after 994 missing? then I think we may have recorded 00:04 on the hold?? we were recording "hot" as "5". unsynced the "hot" display and the pi camera timer by fiddling with kiln controller. perhaps it could recognise "hot", return an error, and from then on the pi introduces a delay? hm on cool down, before 666 got detected as 6k after 605. are we seeing the "." at the end as a 4? After 569 (553/4/ again). Always a 4.
